Our goal is in striving to produce the ultimate olive oil - carefully extracted from selected variety, handpicked at optimal ripeness and pressed using the most modern techniques. The results are premium cold pressed extra virgin olive oils with very distinct personalities - hints of green , full aromas and lingering peppery aftertastes.
  • Favolosa - Also known as FS17 which produces an intensely fruity oil which is most commonly used for grilling meat, sautéing garlic and onions, on toast with ricotta or swirled into a hot soup.
  • Frantoio -  A typical Tuscan varietal, with strong green overtones,  our medium style olive oil is commonly used for cooking fresh tuna, chicken, or splashed over a green salad

The Klein Karoo

Altevrede Farm is a boutique olive farm with approximately 12 Hectares of carefully selected olive varietals, scenically situated in the foothills of the spectacular Langeberg Mountains in the Lemoenshoek Valley. Every effort has been made to farm in an environmentally sensitive manner, utilizing the pure spring water provided from the Langeberg Mountains
